Even In Retirement You Have The Power To Choose

Throughout our entire lives we are told that we have the power to choose. When you’re a baby you might have the power to choose between juice or milk. As an adolescent you might have the power to choose between doing homework or watching television. And even, as an adult, you might have the power to choose between a car and a truck, a computer and a laptop, even something like having the Power to choose between conventional energy and other kinds (although, frankly, it may not be much of a choice in the coming years). The point is that you always have a choice and the same goes for retirement – you can choose to just sit back and let it slide over you or you can live your life.

For many people, it seems like retirement is the final scene before the third act, but I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t have to be this way. You can still make the most of what life you have left and, being retired, you might find that you have more freedom than ever. Freedom to indulge, to relax or even travel. You have the power to choose and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
