Staying active after retirement is very important to your physical and mental health. Retirement is supposed to be the best time of your life and its also the time when you should do the things you always wanted to do. For example, if you want to sleep until ten in the mornings then do it. If you want to get up at noon every day then do it but you need to keep yourself busy.
Taking up a new hobby or sport it always something that will keep you busy. Playing golf is a good way for you to stimulate your brain and get exercise. You will be playing golf outside so you will get some much needed sun and you will also be doing something that you love at the same time.
You can also participate in different activities such as bingo or bridge. A lot of times neighborhoods will have groups of people that get together several times a week to play cards and bingo. If you are retired you should consider joining one of these groups because it will give you time with friends and also help stimulate your brain so you can keep thinking on your toes.
